Not so social media

People have become a social media. The 20 or so year old community is so blatantly unaware that they have blindly become a walking Facebook, twitter, and Instagram. Verbal conversations hardly last for more than 140 characters. People are actually saying "Retweet" when they agree with someone. A new cause for panic in a friend group is when someone doesn't like your new Instagram post. We communicate so well over text with emojis, we can practically have a conversation just with facial expressions. We have absorbed our handheld social medias so much that it has become a part of ourselves. Our smartphones have made us dumb people and I am just as guilty of it as anyone else.
